Where Saigon Souls Meet San Francisco Nights
Every bowl, every plate carries the memory of a Saigon kitchen — slow-simmered broths, market-fresh herbs, and generations of culinary tradition.
For over a decade, Larkin Restaurant has stood as a proud cornerstone of San Francisco's Tenderloin — a neighborhood that beats with the heart of Little Saigon. Born from a family's love of Vietnamese heritage cooking, every dish we serve carries the honest flavors of Hồ Chí Minh City: rich bone broths, fresh herbs, and time-honored techniques passed down through generations.
We believe great food doesn't need pretense — just quality ingredients, a warm welcome, and a bowl that makes you feel at home.
Our kitchen traces its roots directly to Hồ Chí Minh City. The family behind Larkin Restaurant brought with them recipes refined across multiple generations — broths that simmer for twelve hours, herbs sourced fresh every morning, and a commitment to the kind of honest cooking that can't be rushed or faked.
No shortcuts. No compromises. Just Saigon on a plate, every single day.
This is going to be my new go-to for pho. The broth is deep and remarkably flavorful — I'm pretty sure this was the best pho I've ever had.
Very large portions, delicious food, and a calm and quiet atmosphere with a very pleasant waiter. If you value value for money and a cozy vibe, this is your place.
As a cornerstone of Little Saigon, this should be a protected landmark. This place upholds Vietnamese food pridefully amid all the change in the Tenderloin.
My favorite place for Pho and Nam Vang style dry noodles. Always welcoming and friendly. Great price for delicious portions — unlike overpriced neighbors.
Pho was awesome. Maybe one of the best broths of all time for me here in the states. Highly recommend the pho — do not sleep on this place.
We didn't plan to eat here but it turned out to be such a pleasant surprise! The pho was impressive — flavorful broth, fresh ingredients, and generous portions. Definitely a hidden gem.
After discovering this gem, I'm never going back to the other pho place on the street. The pho, broth, noodles and service — all a 10 out of 10. Highly recommend!
Try the Hu Tieu Nam Vang if you want something different from regular pho. Blown away by the quality of ingredients. A really nice, small, authentic Vietnamese spot.
